Fall is one of the best times to visit Disney World, with comfortable temperatures, low crowd levels and special events that are suitable for the entire family. You'll be able to visit more rides and attractions during a fall vacation, thanks to the lower crowd levels.
Even though fall is not terribly crowded, you still need to make dining reservations well in advance for popular restaurants like Le Cellier and Teppan Edo. Epcot's Food and Wine Festival takes place in the fall; this event will cause many dining locations in Epcot and World Showcase to book up early.
Be aware that the fall is part of Florida's hurricane season. While hurricanes rarely affect Disney World operations, travel to and from Orlando could be affected.
