If you are planning a Disney World vacation, one of the hardest things to do is choose when to visit. You may want to visit during a peak time like summer, when the kids are out of school and Disney's entertainment and event offerings are in full swing; or choose and save by traveling in the fall and winter value season.
Travelers without school-aged children or with preschoolers will appreciate the slower pace of the value season. While the parks won't be open quite as long and the entertainment offerings are less extensive, visiting at a time of low attendance can allow you to relax and enjoy each day with little strategic planning.
