Making your own custom autograph book is a terrific way to prepare for your Disney World vacation. You will have a blast working with Disney scrapbook supplies and papers, and you can make a book to reflect your child's favorite Disney character. You can find everything you need to create your own Disney autograph book at your local scrapbook store, and your child is sure to be delighted with the end result.

Supplies:

  • 6" x 6" spiral bound memory book with removable cover
  • Disney papers and stickers
  • Basic scrapbooking supplies, including scissors, adhesive, and pens
  • 1/4" hole punch
  • Plastic page protector
  • Clear packing tape

Directions:

  1. Prepare the book: Remove the front cover of the memory book, and set the rest of the pages and back cover aside.

  2. Create the background: Choose a Disney scrapbook paper for the background, and fold it around the cover like you are wrapping a gift. Mark the location of the openings for the spiral binding, and remove the paper. Punch a hole at each marked location with the 1/4" hole punch.

  3. Attach the background: Replace the paper around the book cover, and line up the holes. Wrap the paper to the back of the book, and secure with clear packing tape.

  4. Decorate the cover: Decorate the front cover using Disney scrapbook supplies, including papers, stickers, words, and embellishments.

  5. Protect your work: When you are happy with the cover, cover with a plastic page protector, wrapping the excess plastic to the back, and securing with packing tape.

  6. Make a "lost and found" label, just in case: Print your name and phone number on a piece of Disney scrapbook paper, and cut it to fit the back of the decorated cover. Tape it to the backside of the cover, concealing the raw edges the paper and plastic.

  7. Reassemble the book: Attach the cover to the front of the memory book, and go get some character autographs!

Now that you have your own custom autograph book, make sure you brush up on your character greeting skills, and you will be ready for autographs when you arrive in Disney World.
